Whenever we're out swimming in the San Francisco Bay or somewhere around the world, we use a live tracking GPS device - Spot - that broadcasts our current location every 10 minutes. It's an easy way to track our progress, see where the tides are pushing us, and know that we're still on course for the other shore. You can view the real-time updated map by clicking below:


Also, we'll try to update the blog as frequently as possible, but that always depends on getting an internet connection or at least a strong enough cell signal to phone in an update. Easier said than done when you're in the middle of the English Channel.
