On May 13, Hugh held a live interview of Night Train, asking about the Sea of Cortez swim, shark dangers and the overall goal of raising money for Wounded Warrior Project. Night Train Swimmers (www.nighttrainswimmers.com) announced on April 1, 2009, that its team of six swimmers will attempt to break the world record for the longest continuous swim relay. Departing from La Paz, on the Cabo Peninsula, the team will cross the Sea of Cortez to hit mainland Mexico approximately 157 miles away. The team is using this event as a fundraiser to benefit Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors.

The swim will commence on June 27, 2009, at 8:00am from La Paz, Mexico. Donations to Wounded Warrior can be made here.
